Strong, suspenseful script and a good story
In The Day of the Jackal (1973), The Jackal also drives a white Alfa Romeo, albeit an earlier model.. Referenced in Graham Norton and guests: Denzel Washington/Paul Mescal/Saoirse Ronan/Eddie Redmayne/Blossoms (2024). The actors were well cast and strong.
Captivating to watch and enjoyable
Eddie Redmayne was cool, calculated and intelligent. Even though he is the supposed villain, the audience can’t help but root for him in this cat and mouse story. The only exception was Lashana Lynch, who has no acting skills, emotions or facial expressions.
Her mannerisms were actually annoying
How she was cast, I don’t know! I guess she was more of a British box that ticked their diversity unit. It’s a shame because a strong woman could have propelled this around the world.
