John Le Carré' I will enjoy this spy thriller

Eliot called Gerontion (the title is Greek for “little old man”) and the poem is an inner monologue relating the opinions and impressions of an elderly man who describes Europe after the First World War through the eyes of a man who lived most of his life in the 19th century). Featured in Graham Norton and guests: Cher/Keira Knightley/ Michael Fassbender/Josh Brolin/Jaylon Ngonda (2024). The writing is for adults and isn’t afraid to take its time to let the story and intrigue unfold.

I’ve always liked John Magaro

Michael Fassbender is perfectly cast in the title role, as a Martian. Jeffrey Wright, always great, is brilliant in this complex role of Harry Ogletree. It’s great to see Richard Gere back as head of the London office after he thought Hollywood had given up on him. Jodie Turner-Smith is well cast as Sammy Zaheer.

You have to settle for its rhythms and nuances, not car chases and shooting!

I mentioned John Le Carré at the beginning because this series plays out like a great spy novel.
