Eva (Odessa Young), a 19th century widow, is faced with an impossible choice when a ship sinks near the shores of her isolated fishing outpost in the middle of a brutal winter. Eva and her crew must decide whether to rescue the survivors or survive the winter with the last of their food. Faced with the consequences of their choices and wracked with guilt, the townspeople grapple with a growing sense of dread and realize that they have all been punished for their choices.
